The Carmelite Spirituality Center is a ministry of the Sisters of Mount Carmel.  The center provides programs and space that allow individuals and groups to experience a transformation in prayer, community and justice.

The Center is open to people of all faiths who desire a serene meeting place for faith-focused gatherings and retreats, as well as the opportunity for groups to guide their own programs.

Just 40 miles from New Orleans, on the Northshore, the Carmelite Spirituality Center offers a tranquil setting for individuals to leave behind everyday worries to "come aside and rest a while."  Year-round flowers and star-filled night skies provide a serene setting for reflection, solitude, celebration and leisure helping to create a sense of community among those who visit.
